Music Loops are little
sniplets of music that line up perfectly to
be looped at any length. You select, for instance, a drum loop on one
track of your music
editing program, a bass track on the next, a couple more guitar and
keyboard tracks and
voila...you created a song. Very often, loops are used in combination
with MIDI tracks or
recorded (vocal) tracks to make a song rather than creating the entire
song from loops.
These loops are generally refered to as 'Acid Loops' since Acid is the
most commonly used
program that uses loops but there are many other programs that you can
use our loops with like Cubase, Logic, Ableton, Garageband and many others.
All of our Music Loops are recorded in digital quality with experienced
studio musicians
and using loops instead of hiring a session player can be very cost
effective when
producing music.
Obviously, our loops work perfectly with the Acid Program. Acid automatically adjusts loops of different speeds to work perfectly together and you can even change the key of the loop to match the rest of your music with very pleasing results. However, there are many other programs for the PC or Mac that you can use our loops with like Cubase, Sonar, Cakewalk Audio, Reason, Emagic's Logic Audio, Fruityloops, Ableton Live, Garageband and many others.
All of our Loops CDs contain PC Loops as well as Apple Loops for Mac Users. Our Apple loops are 100% compatible with Apple's Garageband as well as many other Apple programs such as Cubase, Ableton Live, Protools, Logic Audio and many, many more. Acid is the #1 loops based
music creation program and its current
version has many built in effects, filters and more.
Unfortunately, the program is
not cheap. But here's the good news: You can download a FREE VERSION of
Acid from their
web site. This version is not a demo, it will not expire nor does it
offer only limited
features. It's a full version. The only restriction is that it only has
10 tracks
(actually quite sufficient for many compositions) You can download Acid

Our Music Loops are licensed to you for royalty free use when you purchase them from us. Of course, you are not allowed to re-sell our loops as they are, they have to be used in your original work. You don't have to list us in your credits either but of course we'd appreciate it if you do mention us and give us credit on your album's liner notes if you use our loops.
Loops are a great way to add music to a web site without creating huge files. A program like Flash allows you to import WAV files and then loop them dozens of times when loaded. Of course, a single drum or bass loop won't sound all that impressive so you will want to create a short looping Mini Composition for Web Design Use.
